Cityflo, a shared mobility platform operating in Indian metro markets, has appointed Concept Public Relations Ltd. as its official PR and communications partner.

The mandate places Concept PR in charge of Cityflo’s corporate reputation, strategic media relations, thought leadership and executive profiling. The engagement will focus on Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata and Hyderabad, the four key markets where Cityflo is expanding.

Inside the mandate

Concept PR will work to amplify Cityflo’s growth story, increase visibility for its leadership team, and help the brand show up credibly in business, mobility, technology, sustainability and consumer conversations.

  • Corporate reputation and strategic media relations
  • Thought leadership and executive profiling
  • Positioning across business, mobility, tech, sustainability and consumer media

The partnership comes as Cityflo looks to strengthen its position in India’s evolving shared mobility ecosystem.

Why the framing matters

“Mobility is one of the defining challenges for India’s rapidly growing cities. Addressing it will require shared, organised mobility supported by better-connected networks and technology,” said Sankalp Kelshikar, CMO and Co-Founder, Cityflo.

Cityflo is not leading with a product announcement. It is leading with a point of view about how India’s cities should move. For communicators, that is a useful distinction. A growth story says “we are expanding”; a category narrative says “here is how cities can become more efficient and sustainable.”

Suhas Tadas, Senior Vice President at Concept PR, positioned the win as part of the agency’s consumer-sector momentum and said the team would focus on building a distinctive narrative as Cityflo scales.

What shared mobility means here

Shared mobility refers to transport options where rides are shared among multiple users, such as organised shuttle services, carpooling or app-based buses, instead of each person travelling by private vehicle. In dense Indian cities, this matters because road space and parking are limited, and public transport alone often cannot meet last-mile demand.

By putting communications behind this idea, Cityflo is signalling that it wants to be part of the urban infrastructure conversation, not just a commuting option.

Lessons for marketing and PR teams

The mandate offers a simple structure. Start with the operational truth: Cityflo is growing. Then add the leadership voice: the co-founder is speaking about mobility as a city-level challenge. Finally, distribute that voice across the right editorial conversations, from business and technology to sustainability and consumer media.

The risk is treating PR as a series of announcement placements. In shared mobility, credibility tends to come from a consistent view on infrastructure and consumer behaviour over time, not from milestone coverage alone.
