Gold loan NBFC Muthoot MCred Limited has added two senior hires to its leadership bench, appointing Dr. George Paul as Internal Ombudsman and Vigneshwaran Subramanian, ACMA, as Chief Risk Officer. The Kochi-headquartered lender says the moves are designed to tighten customer grievance redressal, risk management, regulatory preparedness and governance as it scales up operations.

Who is joining

Dr. George Paul arrives with more than three decades across banking, international finance, foreign exchange, trade finance and compliance. He was previously Vice President in the Treasury Department at ESAF Small Finance Bank, and before that headed the International Banking Division at South Indian Bank. A Fellow of the Indian Institute of Bankers with a Ph.D. in International Finance, he will focus on strengthening the company’s customer grievance redressal framework and building customer trust.

Vigneshwaran Subramanian brings a background in credit governance, enterprise risk management and regulatory compliance, having served as Head of Credit at Asirvad Microfinance along with other leadership roles in risk and governance. As CRO, he will work on hardening the lender’s risk management framework and supporting its regulatory and governance agenda.
