Tata Technologies has named Sahej Grover as Director – Brand, Digital & Communications, placing brand strategy, digital touchpoints, content, social media, analyst relations and media engagement under a single leadership mandate.

Grover joins from L&T Technology Services, where a role as Group Manager – Global Brand, Social Media & Employer Branding began in 2020. Earlier positions at the Confederation of Indian Industry and HCL Technologies extend a career of more than 16 years across strategic marketing, corporate affairs and policy advocacy.

The announcement was shared on LinkedIn. There, Grover wrote that the brief rests on a simple shift:

“Brand building goes beyond individual campaigns or channels.”

It must create a distinct, consistent story across every interaction to build awareness, credibility and trust.

The integrated mandate

The role pulls together functions that often sit in different departments:

  • Brand strategy and narrative development
  • Digital touchpoints, content and social media
  • Analyst relations and media engagement

That combination matters because B2B purchase decisions are long and trust-heavy. An analyst briefing, a media story and a digital campaign are not separate activities; they all shape the same buyer’s view.

Why marketers should watch

This is more than a routine appointment. It signals that Tata Technologies wants its brand promise and external conversations managed as one connected system, not as siloed campaigns with different owners and metrics.

Grover’s background is not purely brand-led. Experience in corporate affairs and policy advocacy reflects how engineering and technology services companies build credibility with enterprise buyers, analysts and markets.

What you can borrow

A practical version of the mandate is to map every owned, earned and analyst touchpoint against the same brand narrative. If the website, sales deck and media briefing each tell a slightly different story, the budget is working against itself. The appointment is a reminder that consistency is an operating decision, not a creative nice-to-have.
