Prius Brand & Business Partners, a unit of Prius Communications, has retained the PR, digital PR and strategic brand communication mandate for Delhi Times Fashion Week (DTFW) 2026, its seventh consecutive year on the account. The property ran from 18 to 20 September, with the agency handling communications, sponsorship integrations, VVIP engagement, media relations and influencer marketing.
The 2026 numbers
Prius framed DTFW as a fashion intellectual property rather than a one-off event, and the results give a useful benchmark for integrated event communications in India.
- On-ground creators: More than 100 lifestyle, fashion and luxury creators covered runway presentations, backstage activity and celebrity appearances.
- Digital reach: The creator network generated over 30 million digital impressions and reached 13 million unique users across social platforms.
- Earned media: Media relations and syndication produced more than 200 earned media outputs and 75 million-plus cumulative PR impressions.
- Earned media value: The integrated campaign delivered an estimated ₹18.5 crore in EMV for the 2026 edition.
The figures cover three separate pipelines: the curated physical audience, the creator-driven digital audience, and the press and media audience. Reading them together is what makes the account interesting.
From event to hybrid ecosystem
Baldev Raj, Founder & CEO of Prius Brand & Business Partners, said the brief reflects a shift in how fashion and lifestyle IPs are being built. In a statement, he argued that the era of standalone physical events is over, and that a successful IP is now a hybrid ecosystem where luxury, commerce, and digital velocity intersect.
The DTFW activation mirrors that idea operationally. Prius curated a VVIP guest list of HNIs and corporate leaders, while simultaneously deploying more than 100 creators to cover runways, backstage moments and celebrity appearances. The stated objective was not just noise but what Raj called a high-trust environment where brand presence can be monetised.
For marketing teams, that is the strategic message: a fashion week is no longer only a venue. It is a content engine, a networking layer and a media story running in parallel.
What marketers can do with this
Event-led brands can borrow the structure without needing a fashion week budget. Treat live attendance, creator coverage and earned media as three output channels, each with its own metric: guest quality and intent, impressions and unique users, and media outputs and EMV.
The DTFW result does not guarantee every event will reach ₹18.5 crore in EMV, but it shows how agencies are packaging luxury and lifestyle properties for clients now. The brief is also a reminder that influencer marketing at events works best when creators have access to the moments audiences cannot see, rather than simply reposting the official feed.
