The launch

Tanishq has introduced Adhyantara, its latest festive jewellery collection, with a campaign conceived by TBWA\Lintas and led by actor Triptii Dimri. The lead film is the campaign’s centrepiece; the source does not name a director or give a first-release date or a market list, so the launch story rests on the brand, the agency and the collection.

The range is substantial: more than 100 designs across four categories, giving the cosmic idea a product foundation beneath it.

What the film says and how

A campsite under a starlit sky sets the tone. Dimri sits beneath the stars as “Badan Pe Sitare Lapete Hue” plays, and a gesture toward the sky sends blue, pink and gold light into motion. The lights gather into the outline of an Adhyantara necklace, turning the product reveal into a moment of wonder rather than a catalogue display.

The design language is explicitly celestial: sun, moon and stars. The range includes necklaces, bangles, finger rings and mangalsutras in 18kt and 22kt gold. It spans:

  • Glass Kundan
  • Plain Gold
  • Plain Jewellery with Inspired Gemstones
  • Open Polki

Several designs are modular—3-in-1, 4-in-1 and 5-in-1—and the collection features fire opals, sunstones, rutilated quartz and asterism effects. Those materials do the quiet work of making the cosmic theme tangible in the product itself.

What the brand and agency say about it

Pelki Tshering, chief marketing officer at Tanishq, ties the launch to the festive season. She says the brand set out to “explore the infinite wonder of the cosmos and bring it closer to the woman who inspires us.” Her statement emphasises individuality and the translation of celestial beauty into contemporary jewellery, combining Indian craftsmanship with a modern sensibility.

Triptii Dimri says her draw was the collection’s relationship with the sky: “the sense of wonder that comes from simply looking up at the sky.” She also points to the way the pieces make festive jewellery feel personal and expressive.

Arpan Bhattacharyya, executive director and head of creative, South, at TBWA\Lintas, says the campaign allowed the agency to look at Tanishq through a “more wondrous lens.” The film, in his description, was meant to bring alive the mystery, beauty and infinite possibilities of the cosmos while making the vastness feel human and intimate.

The category context

Festive jewellery advertising in India often defaults to weddings, tradition and the weight of gold as an heirloom. Tanishq’s Adhyantara film keeps the festive frame—Tshering names the season directly—but shifts the emotional centre toward curiosity, imagination and personal expression. The celestial narrative gives the campaign a contemporary register while the gold, gemstones and modular construction keep it anchored in the category’s purchase logic.

The modular 3-in-1, 4-in-1 and 5-in-1 designs are the practical translation: they turn a single piece into multiple styling options, which suits a customer looking for festive versatility rather than a one-event ornament.

What to watch next

Watch how Tanishq takes the cosmic idea beyond the film—into retail displays, social content and influencer styling—and whether the modular formats become the collection’s retail talking point. It will also be useful to see whether TBWA\Lintas extends the Adhyantara visual language into Tanishq’s next festive or wedding-season work.
