Crocs has brought its global Feel It All creative platform to India, making the festive season its next big marketing chapter. The campaign is anchored by a social-first film with brand ambassador KL Rahul, supported by actor Dalip Tahil, creators Rida Tharana and Prish, and internet-famous bodyguard Amin Khan.
A scroll becomes the story
The film uses KL Rahul’s social media feed as a narrative device. A playful “dhoom scroll” carries him through a series of festive encounters—each swipe opens a new personality, tradition and style. In doing so, the story suggests that while feeds can capture festive spirit, the meaningful moments happen offline with the people around us.
An original soundtrack by Mikey McCleary keeps the energy light as the film moves between worlds. Creative agency One Hand Clap conceptualised the idea; group creative head Nirzery Iswalkar described it as a festive celebration that feels “as varied and unpredictable as the people in it.”
Why it matters for marketers
India’s festive quarter is one of the most contested retail windows of the year. Crocs is not running a conventional festive TVC; it is building the ad around a familiar platform behaviour—the scroll. That gives the campaign a native feel on feeds and lets Crocs show multiple ways of celebrating rather than forcing a single uniform festival narrative.
- The social feed is the story engine, not just a distribution channel.
- A mixed cast of a celebrity, creators and an internet personality expands relevance.
- Product shows up continuously through festive silhouettes and Jibbitz personalisation.
Product and rollout
The campaign connects to Crocs’ festive capsule, including the Classic Ballet and Saturday Sandal styled with elevated Jibbitz charms. The brand ties self-expression to comfort, positioning Crocs as footwear that can be adapted to individual festive looks.
Varun Sehgal, SVP & General Manager for APAC at Crocs, said: “India’s festive season is not only a key business moment but also a powerful expression of culture, identity and individuality.”
The 360-degree activation spans digital, social, influencer and retail channels, with creator collaborations, festive gifting, in-store experiences and curated seasonal assortments.
What you can reuse
The practical lesson is to treat a platform behaviour as a creative structure. Build each swipe as a short, self-contained moment, then thread one brand element—Crocs uses Jibbitz customisation—through every scene so the campaign stays coherent and repeatable.
