Raymond Lifestyle Limited has appointed Publicis Groupe India as its integrated marketing partner, consolidating creative, media, performance marketing, CRM, digital, reputation and technology under one roof for the first time.

Inside Team One Thread

The customised Publicis unit, Team One Thread, brings together Saatchi & Saatchi India, Zenith India, Performics, PDX India and Propagate India. The goal is a single operating layer across brand strategy, media planning and buying, performance, customer data, digital experience, reputation and marketing technology.

Team One Thread will be led by Paritosh Srivastava, CEO of Saatchi & Saatchi, BBH India and Propagate India, with Zenith India CEO Jai Lala as support. Publicis Groupe South Asia is headed by Anupriya Acharya.

What is in scope

The mandate covers Raymond Lifestyle’s house of brands: Raymond, ColorPlus, Park Avenue, Parx and Ethnix by Raymond. Within the Raymond masterbrand, the work spans Fine Fabrics, Ready to Wear, Made to Measure and Custom Tailoring.

Why Raymond made the switch

The review was thorough: the company says it spent two months evaluating the agencies’ technical capabilities and commercial terms. Chief Executive Officer Satyaki Ghosh said the company wanted a partner that shares its “passion for our brands and business” and can move with “clarity, agility and impact” in its next phase of growth.

Chief Marketing Officer Kalpana Singh framed the decision around omnichannel complexity. “We are living in an omnichannel world, with shopper tastes and preferences evolving at the speed of light,” she said. Singh added that serving the modern shopper requires “dexterity, integration, and adoption of AI to inform marketing decisions.” She described marketing channels as “the megaphones through which we tell our stories” and said the brand sought unified, clear and distinct narratives across touchpoints. She also thanked existing partners for their contribution to the brands’ growth.

The signal for agencies

This is not just an account win. It is a structure win. Marketers are increasingly asking whether a roster of specialists can deliver one brand story as quickly as an integrated team with shared leadership, shared data and shared incentives.

For Publicis Groupe, Team One Thread is a model to replicate: a bespoke team that borrows from multiple agencies but answers to one client problem. The leadership formula matters too — pairing a creative CEO with a media CEO gives the client a clear escalation path across brand and performance.

What marketers should watch

The announcement carries a few practical signals:

  • Integration capability, not just creative or media strength, is becoming the pitch differentiator.
  • AI adoption is now an explicit selection criterion, not a deck flourish.
  • Consolidation raises accountability, so internal brand leadership needs sharper briefs and measurement discipline.
