XECH Technologies is making a case for gifts that survive December. Its new festive campaign, Gift Smart. Celebrate More., goes live alongside the Amazon Great Indian Festival 2026 and Flipkart Big Billion Days 2026, which begin on October 8.
The pitch: utility, not just occasion
The campaign positions festive gifting around everyday utility. Rather than relying only on festive discounts, XECH is curating products that remain in use after the season ends. The selection spans travel, workspaces, wellness and home.
What’s in the seasonal lineup
Festive offers under the campaign will be available across three labels, covering different gifting and personal-use moments.
- XECH: portable electric travel kettles, garment steamers and personal-use appliances
- eo – everyday organisers: multifunctional desk organisers, laptop stands and travel tech pouches
- Timalfi: rechargeable table lamps and decorative lighting
Who the range is aimed at
The portfolio is mapped to frequent travellers, working professionals, new homeowners and consumers looking to upgrade their everyday spaces. That effectively splits the festive shelf into two shopping jobs: gifting someone else something useful, and upgrading your own routine.
Why this matters in a crowded sales window
Pranay Punjabi, Founder & CEO of XECH Technologies, said festive shopping in India is changing. Shoppers, he said, are looking for “products that feel exciting when gifted and remain useful long after the festive season.”
Niranjan Shendge, Head – D2C Marketing & Online Marketplace Business, added that shopping intent differs by category. Conventional appliances are often planned upgrades, while “small and travel appliances have strong gifting relevance because they are practical and can be used frequently beyond the festive season.”
The January test
For a marketer, the campaign suggests a simple filter for festive assortments: ask whether the product still solves a problem on a normal Tuesday in November. If it does not, the brand is forced to compete almost entirely on price. XECH’s cross-brand approach shows one way to organise that thinking across categories: travel kettles and steamers for the frequent flyer, desk organisers for the work-from-home or office worker, lighting for home upgrades.
What marketers can borrow
The campaign is a practical reminder to segment festive merchandise by buyer intent, not just product type. Decide which SKUs are self-purchase upgrades and which are gifts, then write the message accordingly. The timing with Amazon and Flipkart tentpoles also gives the offer a natural demand moment.
XECH is betting that utility-led gifting helps a brand stand out when every banner is shouting a discount. If the products genuinely hold up in daily use, the festive purchase may buy more than one transaction: it can build retention for the next season.
