Gurugram-headquartered real estate group Trehan IRIS has named Prasad Rane as its Chief Business & Marketing Officer, pulling business growth, sales, brand, and customer experience into a single leadership remit.
The move arrives as the company sharpens its next phase of growth across residential, commercial, and retail real estate, alongside hospitality operations. Trehan IRIS brings more than seven decades of experience, with a portfolio positioned around wellbeing, community, and customer needs.
A role built for commercial impact
Rane’s responsibilities span commercial strategy, brand building, customer experience, and go-to-market initiatives. The appointment is designed to strengthen the link between business performance and brand, while developing differentiated propositions across the Trehan IRIS portfolio.
Executive Directors Abhishek Trehan and Aman Trehan said Rane’s experience across real estate, retail, and consumer businesses would help the company bring business growth, sales, and marketing closer together.
Rane described the opportunity as a shift from what developers build to “the experience, proposition and value we create around it.” His stated focus is to bring “business, sales, brand and customer experience closer together.”
Why this matters for marketers
For marketing professionals, the appointment highlights how senior roles are moving beyond campaign management and into measurable business outcomes.
- One leader, full funnel: Business growth, sales, and marketing sit under one mandate, reducing friction between brand investment and revenue.
- Experience as differentiator: In real estate, long purchase cycles and high-trust decisions make customer experience a commercial lever, not just a service function.
- Cross-sector thinking: Rane’s background in consumer brands, physical retail, and asset management adds a customer-behaviour lens to property marketing.
A track record across growth and physical spaces
Rane joins Trehan IRIS from DailyObjects, where he served as Chief Growth Officer and drove offline expansion, retail footprint development, and new business channels. Earlier, at ICS Group, he was Chief Marketing Officer at PPZ and CEO of SPACES, working across asset management, retail and mixed-use destinations, technology parks, and public spaces. His earlier advertising and retail experience added depth in consumer behaviour, brand strategy, and business development.
This blend of growth and brand roles suggests the new mandate will lean heavily on translating customer insight into tangible commercial results.
What to watch
Real estate marketing leaders who can connect product, experience, and revenue are becoming increasingly valuable. Teams should expect closer alignment with sales and customer experience functions, and measurement that ties brand work to business growth.
