India’s sovereign AI cloud provider BharathCloud is teaming up with ibentos, an AI-powered marketing and event technology company, to scale brand marketing, customer engagement and event technology across India and Canada.
Announced on September 28, 2026, the partnership follows conversations between the companies during the India-Canada Business Summit, held alongside the 7th India-Canada Ministerial Dialogue on Trade and Investment.
What the partnership covers
Under the agreement, BharathCloud will use ibentos HYPE, ibentos’ AI-powered marketing platform, to create and manage on-brand campaigns at scale. The two companies will also explore extending those capabilities to BharathCloud’s customers and using AI-led event experiences to strengthen audience engagement.
- BharathCloud adopts ibentos HYPE for its own on-brand campaign operations.
- The companies may offer the platform to BharathCloud’s customers.
- Both sides will explore AI-led event experiences and event management.
- Future work could include enterprise event tech, virtual experiences and India-Canada ecosystem programmes.
Why this matters for marketing teams
The deal is a practical example of a cloud provider and a martech vendor linking infrastructure with AI-assisted campaign workflows. For marketing operations teams, that pairing matters because campaign creation and event engagement often run in separate tools with manual handoffs.
Rahul Takkallapally, Co-Founder of BharathCloud, framed the partnership as a path to “smarter and more interactive experiences” across campaigns, events and digital engagements. Jaspinder Bhatia, Co-founder & CMO of ibentos, said the companies shared a common vision for innovation and customer satisfaction.
ibentos brings an event-tech track record: the company says it has powered more than 3,000 events across 30-plus countries. Its HYPE platform uses AI-assisted workflows to help businesses create, manage and publish brand promotions across channels.
What marketers can do
Deals like this do not require immediate action, but they signal where integration is heading. Marketing leaders can use the moment to review whether their own campaign and event systems still depend on disconnected workflows.
A useful framework: treat AI-assisted campaign creation as an operating layer, not just a content tool. Before adopting a new platform, ask how brand controls, approvals and event data will stay connected across channels.
- Audit manual handoffs between campaign execution and event engagement.
- Ask martech vendors about AI-assisted brand controls and guardrails.
- Track whether integrated tools reduce time to launch without weakening brand consistency.
The partnership also signals growing India-Canada commercial collaboration in marketing technology. For global marketing teams, it is another reminder that martech capabilities are increasingly built through cross-border alliances rather than single-vendor stacks.
