P&G India opened P&G Loop – The Creator Collective on October 23 at Dome @ NSCI SVP in Mumbai, turning a multi-brand product launch into a two-day creator experience. The event puts creators, brand ambassadors, company scientists and senior leadership in the same room for product demos, sessions and hands-on brand zones.

Kumar Venkatasubramanian, CEO of P&G India, framed the format as “a unique opportunity for creators to experience the science and thinking behind our products firsthand.” The leadership presence underlines the focus: Freddy Bharucha, CEO of Beauty at P&G, Oya Öngör, President of IMETA, and David Khoo, principal scientist and director of scientific communications at P&G’s Singapore Innovation Center, are part of the event.

What’s launching on the floor

  • Head & Shoulders Clinical Strength Shampoo – contains 1% selenium sulfide, addresses persistent dandruff while maintaining scalp moisture.
  • Old Spice deodorant stick – launched under “Spray Udega, Stick Tikega” as a longer-lasting alternative to sprays. P&G cited research that 50% of men dislike when spray deodorant fades within one to two hours.
  • Vicks VapoSteam Tabs – combine Nilgiri eucalyptus, menthol and camphor for steam inhalation and congestion relief.
  • Whisper – introduced the “Bindaas” campaign alongside Choice Ultra, Period Panty and BindazzZ Nights.
  • Ariel Power Gel – promoted under #FreeTheLemon, challenging the lemon-and-scrubbing habit with a one-wash tough stain claim.

Why a creator lab works hard for a launch

The broader context is a shift in how brands reach Gen Z. Instead of treating the cohort as one uniform segment, marketers are responding to fragmented media use and more individual expectations. P&G’s response is to give creators proof they can film: live demos, access to scientists and a clear consumer insight for each product.

The Old Spice stat is a strong example. A specific pain point—50% of men dislike when spray fades within one to two hours—becomes both the creative hook and the reason to switch formats. For a creator, that is a ready-made reel or short; for the brand, it is a claim that feels observed rather than invented.

What marketers can reuse

P&G Loop is a reminder that a product launch can be an experience, not just a press drop. If you want creator content to sound credible, give creators something to see, touch, smell or test. Pair each product with one memorable stat and one person—a scientist, formulator or expert—who can answer the “why” on camera.

Expect more FMCG and D2C brands to run creator open days that feel like labs rather than stages. The products on display may be familiar categories, but the launch format—research first, creator proof second—is the part worth studying.
