Wondrlab has launched WondrAgents, which it describes as India’s first unified Agentic Operating System for influencer marketing. Announced in Mumbai on September 8, the system is built as a network of seven specialised AI agents and powers the network’s two influencer SaaS platforms, OPA and Opportune.

The pitch: instead of automating one task at a time, WondrAgents runs the full campaign lifecycle. Wondrlab says brands can cut campaign go-live time by up to 70%.

What the seven agents actually do

According to Wondrlab, the agents cover the end-to-end workflow rather than isolated steps:

  • Campaign brief interpretation and planning
  • Creator discovery and evaluation
  • Outreach and negotiation
  • Contracting
  • Content evaluation, including personalised script generation
  • Performance optimisation
  • ROI reporting

Each agent is trained to optimise against the brand’s stated campaign objectives, while human teams stay in charge of strategy, creative direction and creator relationships. The agents have been developed by BigStep, the Wondrlab Group’s software engineering and technology arm.

The ‘living intelligence library’ idea

The more interesting claim isn’t speed — it’s memory. Wondrlab argues that most influencer campaigns today start close to zero, with learnings scattered across spreadsheets, tools and individual campaign managers who eventually change jobs.

WondrAgents is positioned as a compounding knowledge base: every campaign adds creator insights, category intelligence, audience behaviour data and performance signals that the agents apply to the next brief. In theory, the platform gets sharper for a brand the longer that brand uses it.

Vandana Verma, Co-Founder of Wondrlab Network, said the company has built one of India’s largest influencer marketing ecosystems through OPA and Opportune since 2020, and that WondrAgents is trained on that proprietary knowledge base. She added that the company believes “the future of influencer marketing lies in humans and AI agents working together.”

Shidush Contractor, Chief Operating Officer of OPA and Opportune, framed the platform as handling operational complexity so teams can focus on ideas and strategy, saying it “isn’t about replacing people” but combining human intelligence with AI agents for more transparency and measurable impact.

Why this matters for marketers

Influencer marketing in India has scaled faster than its operating infrastructure. A single mid-sized campaign can involve dozens of creators, hundreds of WhatsApp threads, manual rate negotiations, contract chasing, content approvals and a post-campaign report stitched together from platform exports. The category’s biggest cost is often coordination, not media.

That is exactly the gap agentic systems are aimed at. If discovery, outreach, negotiation and reporting sit inside one workflow with a shared data layer, the promised gains — faster go-live, cleaner audit trails, comparable performance benchmarks — are plausible. The launch also signals where holding-company-style networks are heading: productising services into SaaS, then wrapping AI agents around the product.

Questions worth asking before you buy in

Agentic marketing tech is early, and the marketing around it is running ahead of standardised proof. If you’re evaluating this or any similar platform, pressure-test a few things:

  • Baseline the 70%. Faster than what — your current agency process, or a manual internal one? Ask for the comparison methodology.
  • Human checkpoints. Where can a human override negotiation terms, creator selection or a script before it goes out?
  • Brand safety. How does the content evaluation agent handle disclosure compliance and category-specific advertising rules?
  • Data portability. If the value compounds inside a proprietary knowledge base, what happens to your campaign intelligence if you leave?
  • Creator experience. Automated outreach and negotiation can improve speed but strain relationships. Ask how creators respond to agent-led communication.

The bigger Wondrlab picture

Launched in 2020, Wondrlab positions itself as a technology-led marketing transformation network. Its group includes creative agency What’s Your Problem, performance shop Neon, CRM and analytics firm Cymetrix, BigStep, commerce media platform Hector, education platform Wisr and European digital agency WebTalk. The network recently also launched WondrBridge, a joint venture with New Zealand-based Bridgesoul to build AI-led micro and nano Global Capability Centres for enterprises.

Read together, WondrAgents looks less like a standalone product launch and more like the network converting a decade’s worth of service delivery into software — a shift plenty of Indian agencies will be watching closely.
