Snapchat India has tied up with creator intelligence platform Qoruz to make it easier for brands to find, assess and shortlist creators on Snapchat. The partnership plugs Snapchat’s creator ecosystem into Qoruz’s discovery tools, giving marketers a data-led way to evaluate potential collaborators on the platform.

What the partnership actually does

Qoruz has used Snapchat’s Public Profile APIs to build Snapchat creator discovery into its own platform. In practical terms, that means brands and agencies running searches on Qoruz can now surface Snapchat creators in the same workflow they already use for creators on other major social platforms in India.

Snapchat becomes the newest addition to Qoruz’s set of API integrations across leading Indian social platforms. For planners, the value is comparability: instead of evaluating Snapchat talent in a separate silo, they can weigh those creators against options elsewhere using the same data points.

Why reach alone stopped being enough

Both companies frame the tie-up around a shift that anyone buying influencer campaigns in India has felt over the past two years. Follower counts and impressions are easy to see and easy to game. What brands actually want to know is who a creator’s audience is, whether that audience overlaps with the target consumer, and whether the creator can credibly carry the message.

Qoruz co-founder and CEO Praanesh Bhuvaneswar said brands want to know “who a creator actually speaks to, not just how many people are watching,” adding that Snapchat’s Indian creator ecosystem has grown quickly and that pairing it with this kind of intelligence was a logical next step.

Saibal Das Mahapatra, Ecosystem Partnerships, India at Snapchat, said creators are increasingly central to how people discover brands, products and ideas, and that the partnership will bring more intelligence and insight to how brands identify the right partners for campaigns.

The Snapchat angle for brands

Snapchat has positioned itself as a route to younger audiences, and the companies argue that creators who natively understand the platform are better placed to build ad assets that feel at home in the Snapchat experience — which can, in turn, help campaign performance. That is the familiar creative-fit argument, and it holds up: vertical, camera-first, ephemeral content rarely survives being repurposed from a horizontal brand film.

For marketers, discovery has often been the friction point on Snapchat. Unlike open-feed platforms where scrolling doubles as scouting, Snapchat’s creator layer is less browsable from the outside. An API-backed discovery tool removes a lot of that guesswork.

What marketers should do with this

If creator marketing is taking a growing share of your budget — as it is for many Indian brands — this is a prompt to tighten how you brief and buy. A few practical moves:

  • Add Snapchat to the consideration set for youth-skewed categories rather than defaulting to the same two or three platforms.
  • Brief on audience fit, not follower tiers. Ask your agency or platform for audience composition and relevance signals before approving a shortlist.
  • Budget for platform-native creative. Let Snapchat creators build for Snapchat instead of adapting an existing asset.
  • Benchmark across platforms. The point of a single discovery layer is comparison — use it to test whether a category assumption still holds.
  • Track post-campaign outcomes back to the discovery signals you used, so the next shortlist is better informed.

Why it matters

This is a small integration with a broader signal attached. Platforms are increasingly opening creator data to third-party martech rather than expecting brands to work inside walled dashboards. For agencies and in-house teams, that means creator selection is moving from relationship-led guesswork towards something closer to a media planning discipline — with data, comparability and accountability built in.
